National Aboriginal Art Gallery release final designs
11 Mar | Final designs for the National Aboriginal Art Gallery have been unveiled as the project moves toward development and construction. It is expected the announcement of managing contractor will be made in the coming weeks. See final design concepts.
Australian Government supports Arafura Rare Earths
14 Mar | The Australian Government has announced a commitment of up to $840 million to support for the development of Australia’s first combined rare earths mine and processing plant in the Northern Territory. Arafura Rare Earths, Nolan Project is located 135 km north of Alice Springs and has the capability to meet 5% of global demand of Neodymium and Praseodymium (NdPr)... Read more

Australian Energy Producers Conference 2024
20 to 23 May, Perth Australia
The Northern Territory Government is helping facilitate the growth of the energy resources sector to create jobs, generate private investment and continue to build on the Territory’s many competitive advantages.

AGES | 16 and 17 April
AGES is a technical exploration-focused conference featuring presentations from the NT Geological Survey, its partners and the exploration industry on new geoscience and latest exploration results from across the NT. To register, go to the Resourcing the Territory website.
Darwin Dialogue | 18 and 19 April
Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI) will convene the second annual Darwin Dialogue. An exclusive track 1.5 initiative, held under Chatham House rules, that will bring together leaders and key players from Australia, Japan, the Republic of Korea and the United States to discuss critical mineral production, supply-chain resilience, and economic security. Defence Week | 7 to 13 May
NT Defence Week 2024 builds upon the Territory’s role in Indo-Pacific security, aligned with the Defence Strategic Review and upcoming National Defence Strategy. Events will be held across Darwin, Katherine and Alice Springs. Read more
